The island of Kauai is the oldest and northernmost island in the Hawaiian chain with a population of around 73,000. It's renowned for its scenic beauty that has contributed to its nickname of "the Garden Isle." In the energy industry, Kauai has also made itself known for how the island has embraced renewable energy.
