Tabatha Knudson

Oahu

As an avid surfer born and raised on the east side of Honolulu, Tabatha Knudson has spent her entire life in and around the ocean. Being in the water almost every day has helped Tabatha foster a lifelong connection to the environment, but it also meant that she was witnessing the effects of ocean acidification and other climate impacts on her beautiful home. See how this UH Manoa student is taking action on climate change through her studies and volunteer work, and hear her advice to other youth who are passionate about making a difference.
