Ampaire and Mokulele Airlines are leading the way in electric aviation! In 2020, they were the first ever to fly a hybrid-electric aircraft in mock-commercial operations, completing 28 test flights between Kahului and Hana on Maui. Mokulele Airlines expects to have the first hybrid-electric aircraft flying with passengers in Hawaii by 2023, and an entire electric fleet by the end of the decade.
